This exercise like the bench press or dumbbell bench press is designed to work the pecs, triceps and anterior delts. But this exercise puts more emphasis on the upper Pecs and also the pec minor. This exercise involves the elbow and shoulder joints. If you have issues with the anterior delts or you find pain in the shoulder lessen the angle of the bench flatter. This should alleviate any pain.


Hands should be wide enough apart so arms are parallel, weights should be in line with chin .

 

Lift weights in an arc motion and bring them together so weights touch at the top of the motion.

 

This should finish in line with your chin.
Lower back into the starting position under control.
